Volaris has had an impressive growth since their launch as an airline, and the SuperStreams app platform has been there from the beginning with a constant roadmap of feature enhancements and improvements. Q4 2021 they migrated to SuperStreams new revamped platform across Mobile, Engine/Middleware and Data. With an average app rating of 4.76 across almost a million ratings their customers seem to like it.

The new version of the app has a cards-based dynamic home screen powered by our data platform, which will change depending on behavior and where the user is in its customer journey, and is future-proofed in the sense that more modules/cards can be introduced. Focus is on optimal booking conversions and always introduce intuitive ways to upsell ancillaries and introduce self-service at the right moment.

The new app has an optimized 4-step booking flow and some novel and intuitive ways to explore like an interactive search map and addon pickers where it’s possible to select ancillaries for multiple flights and multiple passengers at the same time, which has greatly improved conversion rates. And we keep experimenting and constantly improving, based on data.

Mobile Check-in

Mobile check-in and mobile boardingpasses is the golden use case, and has more than twice as many users compared to bookings, many of which are originally from Web or travel agents, which makes mobile the perfect tool to migrate indirect to direct traffic users and revenue. The conversion rates for the booking flow from start to generate offline-enabled boardingpasses are close to 100%.
